About the Artist

In August of 2005 a very dear friend, Irene Grasty, convinced me that if
I wanted to learn to paint, that she could teach me. I never thought
that I had the ability to put on canvas what I saw in God's great world.
I can only now truly appreciate the wonders of the creations of His
mighty hands.
After growing up in the North Georgia Mountains and researching my "Family Tree" I found that I was more deeply rooted in the Appalachian Mountains than I thought! Yancey County North Carolina is where I'd love to live! My ancestors dug into the very mountains and scratched out a living. The very things that made life seem so hard are the things that I love to paint! You never look at a tree or flower or even a cloud the same as before. I am an eager artist and know I will never get it like God did! Some of my closest friends are artist, too. We share a bond like no others. I hope only to keep the strong desire to keep learning! The Prints can be ordered
with your choice of Mat colors
(as long as the colors
coordinate with the colors in the Print)
The prints all have a double mat, so choose two mat colors.
The mats are also put into a clear Acid Free bag.
If you order more than one print, they will be shipped at a cheaper rate.
Special Orders
If you have a picture of a scene you would like painted, you could send me a copy of the picture and let me know what Medium you want it painted in and the size painting you want. This will be done as a Commission project.
It will require that you pay 30% of the total cost which is non-refundable.If you do not like the finished painting you do not have
to take it, but the 30% is non-refundable.
